Use of oeconomy

Since 2009 and his "Essay on Oeconomy", Pierre Calame has continued to assert that the effective reduction of greenhouse gas emissions requires the degressive allocation of carbon quotas for each citizen. His "small treatise on oeconomy" is to be loaded here. It is very well described on page 126 and following.

It is also interesting to subscribe to his blog. The economy is the great comeback!

Pierre Calame has already implemented assemblies of representative citizens drawn by lot (since 2000) and strongly supports the French initiative of the Citizens' Convention for the Climate, which made him react... He produced a text which serves as a support for our movement (you can download the entire text here ) :

"The allocation of tradable quotas to all to drive the energy transition: an obvious solution, faced with almost universal denial."

These options are further reinforced by the publication in June 2020 of his great work "Metamorphoses of responsibility and social contract" published by ECLM, prefaced by Mireille Delmas-Marty.

To complete, Edgar Morin delivers on June 25 his "Let's Change way"where he reminds us to combine the prosaic with the poetic for a true Earth policy.

We believe with Pierre Calame that the best dimension of the carbon account would be at the scale of the European Union, which is why he wrote a letter to this effect to the European deputies, to download here.
